Duties and Working Areas

  1. To encourage the development of these projects and projects to increase the number of projects for research and development in the direction of university strategic plans and priorities
  2. To announce national, international projects and research support programs and their application dates, to inform researchers (web site, meetings, seminars etc.)
  3. TUBITAK, EU, etc. regarding project preparation and management. to cooperate with national and international organizations, to plan and organize joint works, to organize conferences, congresses and scientific meetings,
  4. To carry out educational studies on project preparation, presentation and management; to provide proposals to project owners on issues of original value, widespread influence and feasibility, to provide consultancy and information services,
  5. To follow the preparatory, initiation, implementation, reporting and completion phases of the projects supported by the national and international institutions carried out by the faculty, research centers or other units of the universit
  6. Determining project outputs and determining whether they are entitled to intellectual property rights, legal regulations that ensure the protection of intellectual property rights and supporting project owners in the process of commercialization
  7. Applying for technical support tender for national and international projects and programs, preparing tender documents
  8. To lend the projects prepared by universities' lecturers or research centers to be supported by national or international institutions, to provide technical support if necessary at this stage and present it to the Rector's signature
  9. To provide and maintain all kinds of expenditure documents, intermediate and final reports, contracts, copy of project outputs and originals related to the projects to be used in national and international audits from project developers
  10. To prepare a report to the Rectorate about the requests that the university should take as a partner or coordinator in national and international project or technical support proposals,
  11. Encouraging the formation of such research groups by encouraging the planning or conduct of interdisciplinary research,
  12. Developing approaches to enable the infrastructure facilities of the university to be used in different projects effectively,
  13. To make preliminary evaluations of requests for project preparation and implementation from public and private institutions and to direct them to relevant units of the university,
  14. To encourage university-industry cooperation in developing plans, to prepare the university's instructors and related units to prepare projects within the scope of requests and suggestions from industrial establishments and business world,
  15. To raise awareness for researchers to develop projects aimed at bringing innovative solutions to many problems of humanity,
  16. Monitoring projects, ensuring the establishment of a database for measurement and evaluation of research performance,
  17. Seminar, panel etc. for good practice examples. organizing events,
  18. Providing consultancy and training services to the instructors about the legislations and amendments in administrative procedures and financial matters, organizing periodical trainings in financial matters, keeping financial statistics about the projects and submission to relevant departments,
  19. Ensure that Spin-Off Agreements are carried out and their execution is controlled.
